Job summary

Placements24 is hiring a Senior Operations Engineer for a fully remote role. You will analyze and redesign operational processes, drive cost reductions, and lead major improvement initiatives across a distributed team.

Mentor engineers and guide strategic direction of operational excellence. The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Industrial Engineering, 7+ years in operations engineering, and proven Lean and Six Sigma expertise.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in operations engineering.
Proven Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma expertise.
Experience leading large-scale improvement projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking.
Excellent remote leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead identification, analysis, and optimization of operational processes, workflows, and systems.
Design and implement process improvement solutions for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
Develop and manage complex engineering projects from conception through implementation and post-launch review.
Analyse operational data to identify trends and root causes for strategic improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
