Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join a remote-first team focused on optimizing production processes. You will design, analyze, and improve manufacturing systems, collaborating with R&D, quality, and operations from your home office.

With a bachelor's in engineering and 4+ years of experience, you will apply lean, Six Sigma, CAD/CAM, and simulation tools to boost efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while supporting scalable production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in production.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar.
Proficient with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing simulation tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and cost.
Analyze production data to identify improvements using lean principles.
Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and equipment specs.
Oversee installation, validation, and calibration of new equipment.
Collaborate with design and R&D to ensure manufacturability of products.
Provide technical support to production teams to minimize downtime.
