Job summary

System One is seeking a licensed Exam and Exam Program Developer for a long-term remote contract. The role focuses on developing facility-level NRC operator examinations, aligning with NUREG-1021 and 10 CFR 55, and coordinating with regulatory and training stakeholders.

You will author examination materials, support NRC interactions, and mentor Operations Training staff while transitioning knowledge to TerraPower personnel. A strong regulatory background and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• SRO license or certification required.
• Minimum 15 years total nuclear power plant experience.
• Experience authoring NRC-graded licensed operator exams under NUREG-1021.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; mentoring exam writers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of facility-level licensed operator examination programs per NUREG-1021 and 10 CFR 55.
• Prepare NRC-facing regulatory documents and support NRC reviews.
• Coordinate with simulator development, human factors, and staffing strategies.
• Provide monthly status and final reports on program status, risks, and recommendations.
