Job summary

Protingent is seeking a seasoned Licensed Exam and Exam Program Developer to lead the design and governance of a reactor operator examination program. You will align strategy and exam bank structure with NUREG-1021 and 10 CFR 55, while coordinating with simulator development, human factors, and staffing strategies.

You will author exam materials, develop regulatory documents, and mentor Training staff to build internal capability.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to mentor and coach instructors/exam writers.
• Experience linking exam content to regulatory requirements (NUREG-1021, 10 CFR 55).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of licensed operator examination program.
• Prepare NRC-facing regulatory documents and support NRC reviews.
• Coordinate with simulator development, human factors ISV, and staffing strategy.
• Mentor Operations Training staff on exam development methods.
• Provide monthly status reports and a final program close-out.
