Job summary

NuScale Power seeks a Licensing Engineer 4 to provide senior level licensing direction for complex regulatory projects, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety and licensing requirements. You will oversee licensing programs, manage schedules, and prepare regulatory documents with minimal supervision. Requires extensive nuclear licensing experience and strong regulatory acumen.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Ten years licensing experience in nuclear industry required; interactions with regulatory agencies preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory processes and safety standards (10 CFR) desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior licensing direction for complex regulatory projects.
  • Develop timely, high-quality regulatory submittals for agencies.
  • Oversee licensing programs and schedules for regulatory engagements and hearings.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies and industry groups on assigned activities.
  • Ensure licensing documents are complete, accurate and compliant with strategy.
