Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer for Energy Storage Systems within the NPI Controls Engineering Team. You will develop innovative energy storage controls, lead validation, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure scalable, reliable architectures for Solar & Storage Solutions.

You will mentor engineers, drive performance improvements, and engage with customers and senior leaders to define requirements and delivery plans. This remote role supports U.S. operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM from an accredited college.
10+ years of experience in software & controls development.
At least 2 years of energy storage experience.

Responsibilities

Lead technical innovation and influence product direction for energy storage systems.
Lead development and validation of energy storage systems including auxiliary systems (e.g., chillers, BMS).
Mentor team members and provide technical oversight for development work.
Drive performance and reliability enhancements back to the product.
Interact with customers to drive requirements and satisfaction.
