GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer for Energy Storage Systems in a remote US-friendly role. You will join the NPI Controls Engineering Team to develop innovative controls for new Energy Storage initiatives and improve existing Solar & Storage Solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a STEM field and 10+ years in software & controls, with at least 2 years in energy storage systems. Remote candidates within the US are welcome.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with developing software & controls, with minimum 2 years dedicated to energy storage systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical innovation and influence product direction for energy storage systems.
• Lead development and validation of energy storage systems including auxiliary systems e.g. chillers, BMS.
• Mentor other team members and provide technical oversight for development work.
• Drive performance and reliability enhancements back to the product.
• Understand the rules and regulations associated with regional electricity markets.
• Support problem identification and resolution of new and installed products.
• Interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity.
• Prepare product-level documentation for installation, commissioning, and operations.
