Job summary

Cognizant seeks a highly skilled .NET Full Stack Lead to drive support, enhancement, and development of enterprise applications in a healthcare setting. You will lead technical teams, architect solutions, and deliver AI-powered improvements across Azure OpenAI, RAG, and modern API frameworks.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding with .NET Core, C#, RESTful services, and cloud-native designs, while mentoring engineers and guiding best practices in Agile/Waterfall environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years with .NET Framework/.NET Core, C#, RESTful APIs, HTML5, and CSS.
• Hands-on with RAG, Azure OpenAI, Azure Document Intelligence, and Azure AI Search.
• Proficient in .NET Core 3.1/5.0, EF, ADO.NET, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SOAP Web Services and Web APIs.
• Strong SQL Server, SQL/T-SQL, LINQ, and relational databases.
• Experience with NUnit, MSTest, and xUnit unit tests.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and support of enterprise applications and APIs.
• Mentor teams, drive best practices, and ensure reliable delivery.
• Design cloud-native solutions using Azure OpenAI, microservices, Kubernetes, and API frameworks.
• Implement RBAC, SSO integrations, and security-as-a-service principles.
• Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of multi-tier apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Agile/Waterfall lifecycles.
