Job summary

Cognizant is looking for a .NET Full Stack Lead to guide the development and support of enterprise applications in a healthcare-focused environment. You will work across teams to ensure reliability, performance, and modernization, leveraging Azure OpenAI, RAG, and microservices.

You will design, develop, and troubleshoot solutions, mentor teams, and drive best practices in an Agile/operational setting while supporting cloud-native architectures and secure access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5-10 years with .NET Framework/.NET Core, C#, Web APIs, HTML5, and CSS.
• 5-10 years with RAG, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search and related tools.
• Hands-on with .NET Core 3.1/5.0, EF, ADO.NET, RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SOAP Web Services and Web APIs.
• Strong SQL Server, T‑SQL/PL‑SQL, LINQ experience.
• Unit testing with nUnit, MSTest, or xUnit.
• Git and best practices; logging with NLog/Log4Net.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Visio preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end support and delivery of enterprise apps, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Drive reliability, performance, and modernization with cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Design cloud-native solutions using Azure OpenAI, RAG, and AI components.
• Mentor teams, promote best practices, and support Agile/Waterfall lifecycles.
• Implement RBAC and secure access across applications.
