Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled .NET Full Stack Lead to drive the design, development, and support of enterprise applications in a healthcare environment. You will lead AI-powered solutions using Azure OpenAI, RAG, and modern API frameworks while hands-on coding and mentoring teams.

In this role you will guide cloud-native architectures, microservices, and security controls, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure performance, stability, and governance across the SDLC in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5–10 years in .NET Framework/.NET Core, C#, Web APIs, HTML5, CSS.
• 5–10 years in RAG, Azure OpenAI, Azure Document Intelligence, Azure AI Search.
• Hands-on with .NET Core 3.1/5.0, EF, ADO.NET, RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SOAP Web Services and Web APIs.
• Strong SQL Server and relational database experience.
• Experience with NUnit, MSTest, and xUnit.
• Git and SDLC best practices.
• Logging with NLog/Log4Net; MS Project and Visio preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end support and delivery of enterprise apps, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers, and operations to ensure reliability and performance.
• Mentor teams while driving high-quality delivery in Agile and support environments.
• Design and support cloud-native solutions using Azure OpenAI, RBAC, and microservices.
• Guide debugging of complex production issues and promote TDD practices.
