Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance Manager to lead NEPA efforts for federal, state, local, and private-sector clients from a remote base in San Antonio, TX. This role combines policy expertise with technical writing, project management, and agency coordination to ensure compliant, defensible environmental documentation.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in environmental compliance, NEPA, permitting, environmental policy, natural resource management, or closely related field.
• Strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams, schedules, budgets, and client/agency coordination.
• Excellent technical writing, editing, analytical, and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead preparation, review, and delivery of NEPA documents (EIS/EA/CatEx) and supporting analyses.
• Coordinate environmental compliance under federal/state requirements (ESA, EFH, NHPA 106).
• Manage permitting and consultation efforts, including strategy, application development, and agency coordination.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams; align scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations.
• Develop environmental compliance strategies and track commitments, permits, and regulations.
• Provide senior QA/QC and technical review of documents and deliverables.
• Support client relationships, proposals, and scopes of work.
