Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is seeking a Principal National Support Engineer II to provide top-level technical expertise across our healthcare imaging and informatics products. The role emphasizes leading major incident resolutions, acting as a product SME, and mentoring junior engineers while coordinating with development for timely issue resolution.

The position includes after-hours on-call support, collaboration with TAC and international partners, and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Masters (preferred) with 6 years industry experience or Bachelor’s Degree with industry experience of 8 years or comparable work experience of 10+ years.
• Leading Industry Certifications, not limited to: Security+ and other major vendor certs.
• Minimum ten (10) years of progressive experience as a Technical, Systems, Software or Quality Assurance Engineer in Medical IT and/or Imaging products.
• The position requires ability to perform physical demands and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead major incident resolution efforts, taking ownership of the most critical customer cases end-to-end.
• Act as a designated Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specific product areas, providing advanced guidance to peers and junior engineers.
• Deep Technical Individual Contributor: Expert troubleshooter and primary interface for complex escalations across product lines.
• Mentor and train junior technical staff and provide advanced training to TAC, Upgrade and Project Engineer teams.
• Review and triage escalations from TAC for domestic and international customers, coordinating with development until resolution.
• Provide 24/7 down-site support during on-call rotations and travel as required.
