Novogradac & Company LLP in Cleveland, OH seeks a Multifamily Property Compliance Manager to lead daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality client services across senior, analyst, and junior teams.

You will oversee planning, staffing, and scheduling of engagements, review tenancy reviews and reports, mentor staff, and partner with clients to address complex compliance questions while supporting training and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of directly related experience in administration and monitoring of multifamily affordable housing programs.
• COS or equivalent certification and HCCP designation required.
• Leadership experience including supervising, coaching, and developing staff.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day multifamily compliance engagements, including planning, staffing, scheduling, and timely completion of client deliverables.
• Review pre- and post-occupancy tenant file compliance reviews, reports, findings, and related work products for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as escalation point for complex compliance matters and client questions.
• Provide guidance related to affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HOME, etc.) and regulatory interpretation needs.
• Supervise and develop analysts, including performance feedback and training.
• Monitor engagement performance, productivity, and quality standards, and advise on improvements.
• Foster client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and service orientation.
• Support training, knowledge sharing, and process improvements within the department.
