Job summary

LivaNova is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to build peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders. The role focuses on providing medical insights, supporting investigator-initiated research, and advancing clinical and market development strategies in the neuro/modulation therapeutic areas.

The MSL will travel regionally, train internal teams on therapeutic topics, and ensure compliant communication while maintaining robust stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical affairs or medical affairs within the medical device industry.
• Proven ability to establish and nurture professional relationships with KOLs.
• Demonstrated compliance in field-based medical roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations with stakeholders in medical and scientific communities.
• Generate and execute regional plans to support medical and scientific needs aligned with company goals.
• Support clinical development initiatives including investigator-initiated research and sponsor studies.
• Collaborate on Medical Affairs initiatives including publications, advisory boards, and speaker development.
• Provide up-to-date medical information and balanced responses to scientific inquiries.
• Share clinical insights to inform therapeutic area strategy and market development.
• Serve as a scientific peer-to-peer resource to external disease experts and internal teams.
• Train internal stakeholders on key scientific topics within the therapeutic area.
• Maintain compliant communication and accurate documentation of action plans and KPIs.
• Track and report MSL performance metrics and progress toward regional objectives.
