Job summary

LivaNova is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison with a strong focus on building peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare providers, scientists, and KOLs. The role supports clinical development initiatives, publications, education, and speaker development while aligning with regional goals.

Preferred candidates hold a bachelor’s in a medical field and an advanced degree is a plus, with at least 3 years in clinical/medical affairs within the medical device sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy or other medical-related discipline.
• Advanced degree or relevant certification preferred (e.g., M.D., Ph.D., PharmD).
• ≥3 years of experience in clinical affairs/medical affairs in the medical device industry.
• Clinical/research experience in epilepsy and neuromodulation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations with medical and scientific communities.
• Understand regional landscape and care specialties involved.
• Generate and execute tactical regional plans for needs-based support.
• Support investigator-initiated and company-sponsored clinical studies and registries.
• Collaborate on publications, advisory boards, education, training, and speaker development.
• Identify and map thought leaders aligned with strategic goals.
• Provide up-to-date medical information and balanced scientific responses.
