Job summary

LivaNova is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to build peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs, delivering insights for product and market development across therapeutic areas. The role supports investigator-initiated research, multicenter studies, publications, and medical education programs.

The MSL will train internal teams, maintain compliant field-based operations, and develop regional strategic plans with measurable KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, or other medical-related discipline.
• ≥3 years in clinical affairs, medical affairs and/or clinical strategy in the medical device industry.
• Experience in epilepsy and neuromodulation is highly desirable.
• Ability to establish networks with Key Opinion Leaders and work compliantly in field-based role.
• Pro‑active team player, flexible, and ability to work in ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations with health care providers and KOLs.
• Generate regional plans to support medical and scientific community in line with company goals.
• Support clinical development initiatives including investigator-initiated research (IIR) and LivaNova-sponsored clinical studies and registries.
• Collaborate on Medical Affairs initiatives including publications, advisory boards, medical education (CME) opportunities, training, and speaker development.
• Provide up-to-date medical information and fair and balanced responses to requests for scientific information.
• Train internal stakeholders on key scientific topics in relevant therapeutic area.
• Maintain reporting and documentation of MSL action plans and key performance metrics.
• Travel to medical meetings and group meetings; some weekends may be required.
