Job summary

LivaNova in the United States seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison to establish and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare providers, medical and scientific experts, and KOLs, and to feed insights to product and market development teams.

The role will develop regional plans, support clinical development (IIR and LivaNova studies), collaborate on publications and CME, train internal staff, and travel up to 50% within the region; base salary ranges $180,000–$200,000 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in clinical or medical affairs in the medical device industry.
• Clinical or research experience in epilepsy and neuromodulation is desirable.
• Ability to build networks with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and work compliantly in field-based roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations with medical and scientific communities.
• Understand regional landscape and care specialties.
• Generate regional plans for needs-based medical and scientific support.
• Support clinical development initiatives including IIR and LivaNova studies.
• Collaborate on publications, advisory boards, CME, training and speaker development.
• Identify and map thought leaders aligned with strategic goals.
• Provide up-to-date medical information and balanced scientific responses.
• Communicate clinical insights to inform strategy and market development.
• Train internal stakeholders on relevant medical topics.
• Maintain reporting of action plans and KPIs.
