LivaNova PLC is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) based in California to build peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs. You will support regional medical affairs initiatives, investigator-initiated research, and external collaborations across publications, CME activities, and speaker development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, or related discipline.
• Advanced degree or relevant certification preferred (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD).
• Minimum 3 years in clinical/medical affairs in the medical device field.
• Experience with epilepsy and neuromodulation is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations with health care providers and KOLs.
• Generate regional plans to support medical and scientific community needs.
• Support investigator-initiated research and LivaNova-sponsored studies/registries.
• Collaborate on publications, advisory boards, CME opportunities, and speaker development.
• Identify and map thought leaders aligned with strategic goals.
• Provide up-to-date medical information and balanced responses to inquiries.
• Train internal teams on scientific topics relevant to the therapeutic area.
• Report MSL action plans and KPIs; ensure compliance with requirements.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/biology/pharmacy or related field

Advanced degree or certification (MD/PhD/PharmD) preferred

≥3 years in clinical/medical affairs in medical devices

Experience in epilepsy and neuromodulation desirable
