Job summary

Fleetio is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Marketplace Team. You will design and implement features connecting fleets to shops, handling service scheduling, payments, and data flows across external systems.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver high-quality software, write tests, and contribute to architecture decisions while ensuring performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of Ruby on Rails experience.
• 2+ years of ReactJS/TypeScript experience.
• Strong OO design and relational database knowledge (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with external integrations, APIs, and webhooks.
• Proven unit testing and maintainable code practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement features for the Marketplace offering.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers.
• Deliver well-tested, maintainable, and performant code.
• Engage in architecture discussions and prototyping as needed.
• Review peers’ code to ensure quality and knowledge sharing.
