Fleetio is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Marketplace Engineering Team. You will help build and scale our marketplace features, connecting fleets with maintenance services, payments, and data flows.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 10+ years as a software engineer, 3+ years with Ruby on Rails, and 2+ years with ReactJS/Typescript.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 3+ years experience with Ruby on Rails.
• 2+ years experience with ReactJS and Typescript.
• Firm understanding of object-oriented programming and PostgreSQL.
• Expertise with consuming and integrating with external systems, APIs, and/or webhooks.
• Expertise with data modeling and optimizing query performance.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, design, and implement features for Fleetio Marketplace.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and design of new capabilities.
• Deliver well-tested, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Prototype and spike where necessary to validate technical feasibility.
• Review peers' code to ensure quality and knowledge sharing.
