Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc, headquartered in Boca Raton, FL, seeks a Senior Marketing and Proposal Specialist to lead competitive proposals and SOQs from planning through delivery. The role supports CA offices and may offer a remote schedule aligned with Pacific Time.

Responsibilities include drafting, design, messaging, and client communications. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in marketing within engineering/construction, strong InDesign and MS Office skills, and experience leading proposal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or public relations with 6+ years in engineering, architecture, or commercial construction (required)
• Progressive experience in marketing and advertising with leadership of proposal teams (required)
• Familiarity with graphic design, desktop publishing, and presentation software (preferred)
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Teams, and SharePoint (required)
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (required)
• RFQ/RFP process knowledge and marketing plan development experience (preferred)
• Ability to write clearly and professionally for marketing materials (required)
• Availability to work standard Pacific Time business hours (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all aspects of competitive proposal and SOQ preparation from planning to delivery
• Own proposal schedules, kickoff meetings, and keep contributors on track
• Lead or support Go/No-Go discussions and data-backed decision matrices
• Draft and refine cover letters, project experiences, and team narratives
• Apply layout and design skills in InDesign to customize templates and visuals
• Collaborate with graphics teams for charts and imagery to enhance messaging
• Ensure proposal compliance, QA/QC, and delivery logistics
• Support client interviews and presentations aligned with pursuit themes
