Job summary
Sumitomo Pharma is seeking a Senior Manager, Program Management Operations to partner with PMO leads, implement governance, enable team readiness, and provide portfolio visibility for development programs. You will translate complex data into actionable insights, drive PMO process improvements, and enable cross-functional collaboration across R&D and GDTs.
The role emphasizes governance, planning, forecasting, and reporting excellence, with travel primarily remote work and periodic on-site
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; 6+ years biotech/pharma experience.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams in R&D.
- Strong knowledge of PMO governance and portfolio reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational planning and execution readiness across programs.
- Develop dashboards and portfolio views for leadership decisions.
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning with Finance.
- Manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigations.
- Drive PMO onboarding, training, and process improvements.
- Lead complex cross-functional PMO initiatives from concept to implementation.
