Sumitomo Pharma America seeks a Senior Manager for Program Management Operations to drive governance, planning, forecasting, and portfolio visibility across development programs.

You will partner with R&D leads, GDTs, and PMO colleagues to translate objectives into priority outputs, ensure readiness, and enable strategic program delivery. This remote role focuses on process improvements and cross-functional collaboration across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 6+ years in biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams within an R&D environment.
• Strong governance, planning, and portfolio reporting capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead operational planning and readiness across programs with PMO partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Shape governance agendas, document outcomes, and ensure action follow-through.
• Own portfolio reporting with dashboards and metrics for leadership.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, capacity, cost, and variances with Finance and PM leads.
• Manage timelines, dependencies, and risk mitigation across programs.
• Grow PMO onboarding and capability-building through training materials and tools.
