Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Sr Manager, Sales Training for UPLIZNA Neurology (NMOSD & gMG) to lead Learning & Performance strategy and field training initiatives. This U.S.-based role oversees onboarding, advanced training, and ongoing curriculum while partnering with Brand and Sales Leadership to ensure alignment with business priorities.

The role reports to the Director of Learning and Performance and manages a two-person team.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or higher and relevant sales training experience is required or preferred depending on degree level.
• Experience leading sales training programs in a complex specialty-biopharma environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and curriculum development capabilities are expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead Learning & Performance strategy and execution for UPLIZNA Neurology (NMOSD & gMG).
• Oversee onboarding, field learning, advanced training, and quarterly strategy with Brand partners.
• Manage a two-person team and develop engaging curricula for field teams.
• Partner with Sales Leadership and Brand to align with business priorities.
• Travel ~30% if not located in Deerfield.
