Job summary

Amgen Ohio is seeking a Training & Development Manager to lead learning strategies, apply instructional design, and partner with HR to onboard new hires. The role focuses on improving performance across CI operations and ensuring training materials comply with regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will design curricula, manage LMS-related activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced biotech environment, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required or equivalent.
• Master’s degree with 2 years of Instructional Design, Human Performance Technology, Life Sciences, or Training experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply human performance theory and analytical skills to identify solutions that support business needs.
• Design and develop training solutions using instructional design methodologies.
• Manage curricula and assignments; ensure LMS integration per business processes.
• Gather and evaluate metrics to ensure training effectiveness.
• Lead onboarding for new hires and oversee on-boarding partnerships with HR.
• Travel up to 10%.
