The Recording Academy is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting for a remote US role within Pacific Time hours. You will oversee the preparation and distribution of financial statements, ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, assist with audits, and implement best practices in financial disclosure.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining Workday reports, creating dashboards, managing quarterly and annual reporting, and driving process improvements across reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business, or related field.
• 3–5 years in financial reporting, accounting, and/or auditing.
• Hands-on Workday Report Writer experience with advanced, matrix and composite reports.
• Workday Report Writer certification or willingness to assess.
• Knowledge of GAAP; non-profit experience preferred.
• Strong Excel, analytics and financial modeling skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, test, and maintain Workday reports with calculated fields.
• Test and update reports during Workday bi-annual releases.
• Create dashboards and RaaS outputs to track KPIs for leadership.
• Prepare and update financial statement templates.
• Oversee internal financial reporting processes and controls.
• Manage quarterly and annual report preparations.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, year-end closings.
• Collaborate with teams to gather reporting requirements.
• Lead improvements in reporting systems and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies.
