Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks an experienced leader to manage a team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex enterprise software solutions across the healthcare domain.

You will collaborate with data stewards, SMEs, architects, and analysts to deliver design, development, testing, and deployment, while aligning with security, governance, and change-management policies. This remote US role requires quarterly travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience including management.
• Experience with Application Development; Applications Architecture, DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development.
• Healthcare payer, provider operations, or provider data management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a team of Senior Application Development Engineers on large-scale projects.
• Leads scope, schedule, and budget planning with clear progress communication.
• Defines risk identification and mitigation processes.
• Partners with Security and SRE teams to follow policies.
• Manages hiring, training, and performance reviews for Developers.
• Drives deployment readiness and service transition coordination.
• Ensures teams meet quality and timeline objectives.
