Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks an experienced leader to manage a team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex enterprise software solutions. You'll collaborate with data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and SMEs to deliver solutions across the enterprise.

The role involves guiding application development, architecture, and testing, with close oversight of budgets, schedules, and risk.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 6+ years' related experience incl. prior management.
Experience with Application Development and Architecture.
Knowledge of Agile software development.
Healthcare payer/provider data operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Senior Application Development Engineers on large-scale projects.
Own scope, schedule, and budget; monitor progress and communicate status.
Oversee 3rd party development vendors and ensure standards are met.
Identify and mitigate risks; participate in control activities.
Coordinate with Security/SRE teams on security and change management.
Hire and develop staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching.
Set operational objectives and delegate tasks to ensure stable app development.
Share expertise to strengthen staff capabilities and IT best practices.
