World Vision UK is seeking a Senior Philanthropy Manager for Major Donors. This home-based role with monthly UK travel to MK Office involves growing high-value philanthropy, managing a portfolio of major donors, and securing £25,000+ gifts and multi-year commitments.

Lead the development of donor strategies, engage senior leaders and trustees, and strengthen fundraising practices across the team. Salary circa £47,000 per annum, with regular donor visits and events.

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major donors or high-net-worth individuals.
• Experience achieving income targets, pipeline growth and proposal conversion.
• Ability to build trusted relationships, make significant asks and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for donor propositions and impact-led stewardship.

Aufgaben

• Deliver significant income growth: Year 1 target £200,000, building to £750,000 by Year 3.
• Secure high-value commitments: £25,000+ gifts and six-figure, multi-year opportunities.
• Create a strong, active pipeline: identify and qualify high-net-worth individuals and move through cultivation and stewardship.
• Maintain donor activity: complete 12 meetings per month, including at least 8 with new or qualifying prospects.
• Improve conversion and retention: tailor engagement, asks and stewardship plans to increase proposals and donor upgrades.
• Strengthen forecasting and accountability: keep CRM records up to date and use pipeline data to forecast income.
• Open influential networks: generate introductions through supporters, senior colleagues, trustees and external networks.
• Raise team performance: model relationship fundraising, share insights, coach colleagues.
