Job summary

World Vision USA is seeking an Area Director SE to lead major donor fundraising and account management from a remote base in the U.S. This role reports to the Regional Director, Major Donor Ministries and travels up to 50% within the U.S., with some international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or eight years of work experience; fundraising or sales experience required (5 years).
• Ability to manage major accounts and develop donor relationships.
• Strong donor communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep Christ central in role and align decisions with WV Core Values.
• Raise minimum of $1,500,000 each fiscal year through private funding, multi-year commitments, and gift planning.
• Plan and implement account management strategy for assigned accounts.
• Develop long-term relationships with prospects, aligning donor interests with WV mission.
• Network through current donors to identify new major gift prospects.
• Coordinate donor visits with WVUS leadership and project teams.
