Job summary

Vision To Learn seeks a Senior Development Officer to strengthen fundraising by leading donor stewardship, communications, and moves management across a portfolio of individual and institutional supporters. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you will translate program impact into tailored engagement, coordinate leadership touchpoints, and maintain reliable portfolio data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years fundraising and development experience.
• Experience with moves-management and donor stewardship.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for donor communications.
• Experience with major gifts, foundations, or corporate philanthropy.
• Strong relationship-management and collaboration across teams.
• Proficiency with development CRM systems, Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead donor stewardship and engagement for an assigned portfolio.
• Develop tailored stewardship plans reflecting donor interests and giving history.
• Ensure timely acknowledgments, impact updates, and recognition.
• Coordinate meetings, briefings, site visits, and events with leadership.
• Manage moves across the donor lifecycle: identification to renewal.
• Draft donor-facing materials and renewals; support grant activities.
• Maintain accurate donor records in Salesforce and other CRMs.
