Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior SharePoint Engineer/Consultant to lead on-premises to SharePoint Online migrations and modern intranet implementations. You will shape information architecture, migration waves, and modernization strategies, partnering with client stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform.

You will guide end-to-end project lifecycles—from discovery and design to build, testing, migration, and deployment—utilizing tools

Qualifications

3+ years of consulting experience delivering SharePoint solutions and/or migrations using Microsoft technologies.
Hands-on experience with SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019) and SharePoint Online administration and configuration.
Experience planning and executing SharePoint migrations (assessment, waves, pilots, remediation, cutover, and hypercare).
Experience with major migration tools (Microsoft Migration Manager, ShareGate, AvePoint, Quest, or similar).
Experience implementing modern SharePoint Online intranets (IA, hubs, navigation, search, metadata, and permissions).
Experience with Power Platform for forms/workflow modernization.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for workshops and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

Assess & plan migrations: discover/inventory, define scope and waves, estimate effort, plan cutover and hypercare.
Design the target intranet: information architecture, hub/site strategy, navigation, search, metadata, permissions.
Execute migrations: configure tooling, run pilots, remediate issues, drive cutovers.
Modernize solutions: map legacy workflows to Power Automate/Power Apps patterns.
Enable operations & governance: establish standards, lifecycle controls, reporting.
Lead stakeholders: run workshops, deliver client-ready artifacts, communicate risks and decisions.
