Job summary

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to enter prescription orders and medical records with accuracy. This role supports geriatric care in senior-living and post-acute settings and requires knowledge of frameworks LTC and Docutrack.

The position involves rotating weekends/holidays and may require flexibility for nights. You must be a licensed pharmacy technician with CPhT certification and preferably LTC experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician license and CPhT certification required.
• Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred.
• Frameworks and Docutrack experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Contact physician's office for refill authorization.
• Verify orders and contact clients for verification.
• Process new and refill prescriptions.
• Open orders, verify eligibility, and input prescriptions.
• Document correspondence and follow up in the system.
• Prepare audit sheets and provide feedback to manager.
• Forward incomplete or rejected scripts for resolution.
• May assist with research of lost or missing orders.
• Provide backup support to other pharmacy groups as needed.
• Answer calls promptly and provide high-quality customer service.
