Job summary

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to enter prescription orders and medical records with accuracy. The role supports geriatric patients in senior-living and post-acute settings and operates within an ESOP-owned organization.

The position involves accurate data entry, verification, and coordination with physicians and clients, with flexibility to work shifts including some nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license and CPhT certification required.
• LTC experience preferred; Docutrack experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process all new and refill prescriptions in the system.
• Contact physician offices for refill authorization and verify orders.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while documenting correspondence.
• Open orders, verify eligibility, and input prescriptions.
• Provide backup support to other pharmacy groups as needed.
• Assist with research of lost or missing orders per internal requests.
