Job summary

World Fuel Services seeks a Senior Logistics Coordinator to manage dispatch operations and serve as the main contact for drivers, customers, and carriers. This role drives safe, on-time fuel deliveries and real-time problem solving within a 24/7/365 environment.

You will coordinate daily dispatch activities, support transportation decision-making, and contribute to continuous improvement across the team while ensuring DOT compliance and safety in all operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dispatching, transportation, logistics, supply chain, fleet operations, carrier operations, fuel transportation, or related operational experience.
• Experience coordinating transportation activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Transportation Operations: analyze delivery requirements, build dispatch schedules, collaborate with drivers, carriers and internal teams.
• Support Customers & Carriers: act as primary contact, provide proactive service and resolve issues.
• Drive Operational Excellence: monitor performance, drive improvements, ensure compliance and safety.
• Support Team Success: assist onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing to sustain consistency.
