Job summary

World Fuel is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics Operations team. Based in the United States with remote options, you will support day-to-day transportation activities, coordinate with carrier partners, and maintain critical operational data.

You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, drive continuous improvement, and deliver exceptional service across our carrier network, contributing to operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, operations, or related field.
• Experience supporting logistics operations, carrier management, transportation coordination, billing, or operational support activities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Logistics Operations team with daily Transportation and carrier-related activities.
• Respond to operational requests and support day-to-day logistics needs.
• Partner with internal departments to help resolve issues and support business objectives.
• Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and update critical logistics databases and repositories.
• Support audits and reviews of carrier documentation, agreements, and compliance records.
• Monitor workflow progress and help resolve process bottlenecks.
• Assist with KPI reporting and business performance tracking.
