Pilot Company is seeking a dispatch-focused professional to manage fuel orders and optimize delivery for multiple locations. You will help prevent outages, manage vast inventories, and support a world-class supply chain function.

The role emphasizes coordinated daily dispatch, teamwork with drivers and store staff, and a schedule that includes rotating nights, threes and fours, to maximize efficiency and maintain margin opportunities.

Qualifications

• School diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or engineering.
• Minimum three years’ experience in transportation dispatch or optimization required.
• Specialized knowledge: Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute delivery of fuel loads ensuring low outages and cost efficiency.
• Analyze staffing, carrier loads, inventories, trucking costs, and fuel pricing for lowest cost actions.
• Answer high-volume driver calls to adjust dispatch plans and redirect drivers as needed.
• Monitor store tank volumes and project sales demand to avoid outages.
• Maintain tank levels to optimize cash flow and margins via market timing arbitrage.
• Monitor spot market prices to exploit arbitrage opportunities and volatility.
• Review driver DOT hours and plan routes safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchases and fuel deliveries with KPIs.
