Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking a Weekend Logistics Coordinator to support operations across the Great Lakes Region. This role serves as the weekend point of contact, coordinating daily operations and ensuring 100% fuel availability through forecasting and efficient dispatching for residential and commercial customers.

You will create daily driver schedules, optimize routes, and ensure DOT hours compliance while maintaining strong communication with drivers and the service center network.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3–5 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or route planning preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to support forecasting fuel needs, delivery scheduling, and route optimization.
• Knowledge of DOT hours of service regulations.
• Ability to assign work and communicate effectively with driver team.
• Work in a fast-paced customer service organization, meet deadlines, and resolve issues.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and database skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish delivery forecasting and delivery frequency to maintain 100% fuel availability for residential and commercial customers.
• Establish delivery frequencies to create efficient drops (60% of tank capacity).
• Review inefficient deliveries and adjust forecasts to improve efficiency.
• Manage service center delivery zones to support route efficiency.
• Create service center daily driver delivery schedules and routes.
• Optimize delivery routes and driver efficiency by clustering deliveries.
• Manage driver schedules to comply with DOT hours of service.
• Communicate routing and delivery instructions to drivers.
• Review deliveries that indicate customer run outs.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
