Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Large Language Model Specialist for a 100% remote role in the U.S. The candidate will design, implement, and optimize fine-tuning workflows for large language models across supervised, preference-based, and RLHF approaches.

Strong production-grade engineering practices and ability to work with cross-functional teams are essential. Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of ML research/engineering, expertise in Python and PyTorch, and hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related field with strong ML foundation.
• 6+ years of ML research/engineering with LLM exposure.
• Strong Python and PyTorch proficiency for model fine-tuning.
• Experience with transformer fine-tuning at scale and distributed training.
• Familiarity with RLHF, DPO, evaluation benchmarks, and human evaluation.
• Proven ability to ship production-grade ML solutions and mentor peers.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute fine-tuning experiments for large language models using supervised, DPO, RLHF, and related techniques.
• Lead dataset construction, curation, and quality assurance for instruction tuning and preference data.
• Build scalable training pipelines on modern distributed training frameworks.
• Tune hyperparameters, optimizer configurations, and training stability strategies.
• Implement parameter-efficient fine-tuning methods such as LoRA, QLoRA, adapters.
• Design rigorous evaluation suites including automated benchmarks and human evaluation.
• Operate large-scale GPU training jobs and recover training state across failures.
• Collaborate with product, research, and platform teams to align roadmaps with business needs.
