Job summary

Dexcom Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Enterprise Cyber Defense, guiding a global team across identity, endpoint, email, network, cloud, and enterprise environments. You will shape the strategy, drive proactive threat-informed defense, and partner with product security, IT, privacy, and legal to reduce cyber risk.

The role emphasizes overseeing SIEM/SOAR/XDR, cyber readiness, and major security incidents, with 5–15% travel and a remote-first workplace in the United States.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS, cybersecurity, IT, or related field; equivalent work experience acceptable.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity/IT; 5+ years in cyber defense, detection, and incident response.
• Proven experience building or scaling enterprise cyber defense capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute an Enterprise Cyber Defense strategy and roadmap.
• Lead a global cyber defense organization across teams and providers.
• Develop threat-informed detection engineering lifecycle for measurable coverage.
• Oversee cyber readiness programs, tabletop exercises, and playbook validation.
• Lead AI-assisted security operations, with human-in-the-loop controls.
• Oversee incident command for high-severity cyber incidents and post-incident improvements.
• Define KPIs/KRIs for detections, response, automation, and readiness.
