Job summary

Dexcom seeks a senior leader to own Data Protection and Insider Risk, building and directing a global team responsible for protecting sensitive information across endpoints, email, cloud, SaaS, and collaboration tools.

The role partners with HR, Legal, Privacy, and GRC to mature risk programs, drive automation, and report on program maturity and risk reduction. Flexible remote work options available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity, data security, risk, or investigations.
• 5+ years focused on data protection, DLP, or insider risk.
• Proven success building enterprise DLP or insider risk programs.
• Knowledge of DLP controls across endpoints, email, cloud.
• Experience with Netskope or Microsoft Purview.
• Strong collaboration with HR, Legal, Privacy, GRC, and business leaders.
• Automation/AI experience in security operations.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP, GIAC.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Data Protection and Insider Risk strategy and roadmap.
• Build and lead a global team of employees, contractors and service providers.
• Own the enterprise DLP lifecycle: rule design, testing, deployment, exceptions.
• Establish and mature the Insider Risk Program with governance and workflows.
• Partner with data owners to identify high-value information and implement protections.
• Lead insider risk investigations and data-protection investigations.
• Oversee integration of DLP technologies and analytics.
• Drive automation and AI to improve detection and response.
• Define KPIs and KRIs for program maturity and risk reduction.
• Maintain governance and defensible investigative practices.
