Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Enterprise Cyber Defense (ECD) function, a global defense capability to reduce cyber risk and strengthen resilience. You will define strategy, build a high-performing team, and drive threat-informed detection across SIEM, SOAR, and agentic security operations.

You will own readiness programs, incident command for high-severity incidents, and the evolution of defensive technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity/IT/engineering; 5+ years in cyber defense, detection & response.
• Proven success building or scaling enterprise cyber defense capabilities with SIEM/SOAR/XDR.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute an Enterprise Cyber Defense strategy, operating model, and roadmap.
• Lead a global cyber defense organization across multiple teams and providers.
• Mature threat-informed detection engineering and coverage for detection/prevention.
• Oversee cyber readiness, incident response, and major security incidents.
• Lead AI-assisted SOC strategy with automation and human oversight.
• Own metrics and reporting for detections, response, and risk reduction.
