Job summary

EDF Renewable Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Land Agent – Land Acquisition to lead negotiations for renewable project land and secure favorable long-term agreements. The role requires strong contract drafting, negotiation, and CRM proficiency, with a decade of land leasing experience.

You will mentor others and coordinate with regional teams to advance project development. Remote work is available for candidates in the West Region, with travel up to 50% as needed to landowners and project

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree, JD, or MBA, in Business, Marketing, Real Estate or related field.
• Ten years of direct experience in land leasing/acquisition.
• Past renewables experience preferred.
• RPL or CPL through American Association of Professional Landmen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage relationships with landowners to secure long-term land agreements for renewable projects.
• Assist in obtaining fully executed documents for development including leases and easements.
• Mentor Land Agents and develop onboarding materials for the team.
• Work with regional teams to identify landowners and negotiate contracts for proposed projects.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings and maintain relationships throughout land acquisition and development.
• Provide weekly updates and status reports to leadership.
