Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking a Senior Land Agent to lead land acquisition for renewable energy projects across the U.S. West Region. The role focuses on negotiating land agreements, engaging landowners, and supporting development pipelines.

You will mentor junior agents, manage complex contracts, and travel up to 50% to project sites. Requires ten years of direct land leasing experience and a related bachelor’s degree or higher, with strong office and CRM skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree, JD, or MBA in business, marketing, real estate, or a related field.
• Minimum of ten years of direct experience in land leasing/acquisition.
• Preferable renewables experience.
• RPL or CPL certification preferred; Notary license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage relationships with landowners to secure long-term land agreements.
• Assist in obtaining fully executed documents needed in advanced stages of development including land leases and easements.
• Mentor and train Land Agents; develop onboarding curricula and assist with new hire training.
• Work with regional teams to implement land acquisition campaigns and negotiate contracts with landowners.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings and maintain relationships with stakeholders throughout the process.
• Provide data to Manager, Land Acquisition for weekly updates and submit weekly status reports.
