Job summary

EDF Power Solutions North America seeks a Land Agent, Land Acquisition, to negotiate and secure land agreements for renewable project development across the West Region. This field-based role requires building relationships with landowners, preparing leases and easements, and coordinating with regional teams to advance projects from development through operations.

Qualifications

• Proven sales, account acquisition and account management experience.
• Task and detail-oriented problem solver with exceptional organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and public speaking skills.
• Contract drafting experience required.
• Working knowledge of land, legal, and negotiation principles.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage relationships with landowners to secure long-term land agreements for renewable project development.
• Assist in obtaining executed documents for development stages including leases, easements, and title instruments.
• Coordinate land acquisition campaigns with regional teams and engage landowners and attorneys for participation in projects.
• Provide data to Manager, Land Acquisition for weekly updates and maintain project activity summaries.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings and maintain relationships throughout acquisition and development process.
• Work within corporate land acquisition policies under supervision of Manager, Land Acquisition.
• Support Community Relations with landowner communications and project updates.
• Travel as needed and contribute to meetings and reporting.
