Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Core Experiences Team. You will shape foundational services and SDKs across platforms, designing reliable APIs and scalable systems that enhance user experiences.

You will collaborate with product teams to scope work, reduce complexity for faster feedback, and ship backend services using Kotlin, with a focus on Kotlin Multiplatform and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience designing end-to-end systems with clear APIs and simple, reliable abstractions.
• Able to move quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
• Collaborative work style with designers, marketers and PMs to align on tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects and reduce scope for faster feedback.
• Design more efficient abstractions to optimize loading and parsing performance.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
