Speechify in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Experiences Team. This role builds foundational services and SDKs powering Speechify across platforms, sitting at the intersection of product and infrastructure.

You’ll collaborate with product teams to scope projects, design scalable APIs, and ship cloud functions, backend services, and Kotlin-based jobs. A strong multi-platform mindset and GCP experience are valued.

Qualifications

• The candidate demonstrates systems thinking and end-to-end design.
• Ability to ship quickly while ensuring quality.
• Strong focus and collaborative skills across designers, marketers, and PMs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects and deliver cross-platform SDKs.
• Optimize functionality for faster loading and better parsing through efficient abstractions.
• Ship cloud functions, backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
