Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Experiences Team. You’ll help design and maintain the SDKs powering Speechify’s product across platforms, focusing on scalable APIs and reliable systems.

You’ll collaborate with product teams, optimize performance, and ship backend services in Kotlin. The role requires strategic thinking, fast delivery, and strong collaboration in a remote, high-growth startup environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent collaboration with designers, marketers, and PMs to drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product teams to scope projects and balance UX tradeoffs for cross-platform SDKs.
• Optimize performance and parsing via better abstractions and algorithms.
• Ship cloud functions and lightweight backend services using Kotlin.
