Job summary

Octave seeks a Software Lead to design, develop, and deliver cloud-based SaaS QMS features for regulated customers. You will translate product and regulatory requirements into secure, scalable solutions, with Java-based application features, REST APIs, and multi-tenant architecture, ensuring GDP, ISO and FDA compliance.

You will own end-to-end delivery from requirements to production, contribute to cloud-native initiatives, CI/CD, IaC, and incident resolution, with telecommuting optional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 5 years of software development experience.
• Experience with Java, RESTful APIs, and SQL databases.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform/Terragrunt, and CI/CD tooling.
• Familiarity with regulated environments and GDP/ISO/FDA expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver cloud-based SaaS QMS features.
• Support end-to-end delivery from requirements to production.
• Implement multi-tenant architecture and scalable data models.
• Maintain security, compliance, and debugging.
• Lead integration with regulatory reporting (eMDR/MedWatch) where applicable.
