Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years Java development experience with Windchill customization.
• Deep Windchill Java API and customization frameworks experience.
• Strong Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals.
• SQL skills with Oracle or SQL Server.
• Experience supporting Windchill upgrades.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including services, listeners, processors, validators, and helpers.
• Extend the Windchill data model with custom types, attributes, and relationships using TAM.
• Build custom JSP and HTML extensions, including tables, actions, and wizard pages.
• Develop custom queues and background processes for asynchronous Windchill tasks.
• Implement complex workflow expressions and robot delegates in Java with durable, well‑documented outcomes.
• Optimize performance of Java customizations, including profiling and caching strategies.
• Lead migrations to modern patterns; plan cutovers with backward-compatibility shims.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards with cross‑functional partners.
• Collaborate with consultants to translate requirements into clean Java designs.
• Provide post‑go‑live support and triage incidents with operations teams.
